Hollywood marriages don’t seem to last forever, do they?
Numerous reasons exist for this, but one of the biggest factors seem to be age. Maybe it’s because everything in Hollywood seems to go at a faster pace, or maybe it’s just because we rush into a lot of things when we’re younger, but young stars have made their marks on the divorce rate.
YOUNG MARRIAGES (AHEM, DIVORCES)
Hise are a list of youthful stars that are eithis going through divorce, or have been divorced at a younger age (after a brief marriage):
Jane Levy, 25, star of “Suburgatory” filed for divorce after being married for just 7-months to actor Jaime Freitas.
Jessica Simpson and ex-husband Nick Lachey called it quits after three years of marriage (and one reality series). He was 25 when they divorced.
Jessica’s sister, Ashlee, ended his marriage with Fall Out Boy rockstar Pete Wentz when she was 26. The two had been married two years and had a son together, Bronx Mowgli.
Zooey Deschanel and ex-husband Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab for Cutie) divorced after three years of marriage.
Avril Lavigne and lead singer of Sum 41 Deryck Whibley divorced when she was 26. They were married for three years.
After just a year of wedded bliss, Katy Perry and Russel Brand called off their marriage. He was 27.
