On March 15, Vanessa Trump filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr., ending their 12 years of marriage, The couple released a statement on March 16 saying, “We have decided to go our separate ways. We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”

The couple met at a fashion show in 2003 when Donald Trump introduced them. They were wed in 2005. While Vanessa Trump tends to remain out of the public eye, she was thrust into headlines after opening a letter containing a suspicious substance.
